Alternate reality projection is the ability to create imaginary worlds from memories that are held in the minds of the users.

The worlds created by Alana are made from the memories of the individual she is using it with. These worlds are also able to last several years in the illusion but only last a couple of seconds in the real world. On the promicin inhibitor, she was only able to use her ability once. After coming off the inhibitor, she was able to use it more frequently and with greater control.
